Description

This is painted I composed because I love the softness and gentleness lotuses convey.  This is a bright tropical inspired painting that makes you feel as if you are sitting amongst the lotuses.  I wanted the audience to feel the beauty and tranquil setting this image creates.  The water droplets and soft light on the lotus petals with cool tones of blue and green add to this feeling of serenity.   This was painted partly from a beautiful reference image courtesy of Lori Wilcox McCray
